I just got 2 females Saturday, instead of a pair. It was hard trying to sex them since the pink belly barley shows but w.e The 2 i picked up paired up asap with my 2 male GBRs. The one that has laid eggs paird up with my best looking male and im glad. He always comes through when i want some eggs. this is his third female 1st EBR. hopefully i can get past the wrigglers stage with this pair. my other females would eat the eggs and younglings. fingers crossed!!!

sorry for bad cell phone pix, will have the camera back tonight

neat color

How are they holding up? Do they seem more sensitive than the regular GBRs? I find that fish that are bred for specific colorization like that (think EBJDs and dwarf powder blue gouramis) have lotsa health problems and are just not as hardy as their regular colored counterparts.

These just came out!!! I was suprised my LFS got thses in. Aquascape was the fisrt to get them that i know of...i got them at a LFS in my area, i was going to go to aquascape which is not that far from me and where i found out about these guys, but they were sold out in a week of getting them in. As for their sensativity, nothing different or irregular to GBR. In the tank they were in at the LFs they were pairing off and full of color. Seemd very helathy and fine to me.. I didnt need anything different to care for these, i have had them since saturday and are doing excellent!!
