Yeah I know, not a huge task, but it was fun, and the end result was amazing, very pleased with myself...

My brother and I plan to breed plecos in this tank once the other fish are moved out (this Saturday

), so it needed to be clean. I got rid of the gravel, as I wanted to try bare-bottom, since it is easier to clean. First time I tried bare-bottom tanks, very pleased. I decided to use two filters for this tank as plecos are meant to like stong current. This tank has about 4 times flow thru it. I put some pieces of driftwood in to make it look a little better as well, tell me what you think, yay or nay.

P.S personally love the bottom pic

lol at your avatar

Yay! :) Looks good! I like the look of bare bottom tanks though so I am a little bias.

I do not know anything about breeding plecos but if you added a couple plants (java ferns & anubias) I think it would make them feel a little more secure. The plants would cause some shaded areas & we all know how plecos like to hide. :)

Good luck breeding!

i think it looks great, and it will be sooooo easy to keep clean! (i used to run 3x10 gallon bare bottom betta tanks).

looks good so far

Thanks mate.

Yeah I plan to buy some anubias to put on the driftwood, just looking for the right piece. I got enough bogwood in there for them to hide in, plus it will only be 2 fish in that tank.
