I started peeking up my snails shells last night to see whether I have males and females (thanks to the snailporn thread) Well I /thought/ I had all females so I was suprised to come home this afternoon to find a clutch. It's my first one. I'm so excited!

The eggs are laid by Pomacea diffusa. Notice the honeycomb appearance and color? It's quite distinctive if you are familiar with all the egg clutches.:)

how long does it usually take for snails to hatch?
Two to five weeks depending on temperature and humidity. My shortest record is 10-11 days.;)

Yep. Trap the humidity.
