If you would let me pick and choose, not individual snails but patterns, I would so buy, lol.
The one I want most is top right in the first pic I posted.

I'm getting 404'ed on the two pictures. Judging by the filenames though, I'd agree with Sounguru in that I don't think I've seen them stateside.

I felt that way about the zebras even the first time I saw them, that they were to symmetrical and pretty to be natural, lol. They are just so darn perfect. Amazing what nature can produce.

Nirites can live in salt, brackish, and fresh water
but can only breed in brackish water

First pic is of either an africian or from euopean origin.. I think but it may also be a phillipine species as well
Second is N,waigenensis (Phillipine)
Third look like a SW species.. but may be a clithion (phillipine)
now those are some beauties, and the i like the blogger's writing style, too.

I think there are some rare ones that have adapted to breed in freshwater- if collected from a source where they live their full lives in freshwater naturally.

When I 1st got interested in nerites I discovered the pink lookin ones and they were called Candy Red Nerites, I wanted them so bad and spent nearly 2 yrs looking for them and still have had no luck on finding a reputable source for them.

Theodoxus fluviatilis and Neritina reclivata. You are correct that not all nerites cannot breed in FW.

Neritina reclivita is Vita Usnea (Reclassified a while ago) Its brackish breeding

This is why I hate the taxonomy sometimes.;) Thanks for clarifying that, Chris.
