almost fully hatched! I thought they were all dead, but I put them in their tank anyway with some food, and left them alone for an hour. I checked on them, and all of them were moving around. They must have hatched early this morning in the po! I have them in a small tank so I can make sure everone's eating, then they'll get moved to their big tank. I can't wait!
(sorry-spelled your name wrong!)

I thought for sure they were all dead. some could be though, since I didn't see every single one moving at the same time.

Is it legal to ship clutches?

this is the best thread ever, i must say. if it's illegal, i'll never do it again! (technically they were hatched already, just "gift-wrapped") ;) oh, here is a picture of the clutch right before I put it in the box to send (PICTURE 2) only after a week of laying!
the next batch I ship to you will be all live snails--the ones that hatched on your husband's birthday. They have gotten a LOT bigger, I can tell (although they are still pretty tiny) and I have taken out the freak giant (the stowaway ramshorn) and I have taken pics of one of the runts. and his friend :) (PICTURE 1) I am letting a thin coat of algae grow on the walls, and I can see their little trails! (sorry, the pics are hard to see) (PICTURE 3)

It is legal to ship diffusa eggs.
Is it legal to ship clutches?
It is legal to ship diffusa eggs.
Sunshine is correct. Pomacea diffusa of all ages including egg clutches can be shipped around without permits.

Diffusa? I thought ours were Bridgesii...or is that a subspecies? Oh by the way here are photos of the clutch i just found and froze, and the babies that hatched on may 17th. Is it just me or are they looking a little blue already? ;)
I want your camera!
Thanks! it's a Canon Powershot SD400, 4 megapixels. really old, my brother gave it to me when he got a fancy new 8 megapixel one. But if you ever want a new camera, I recommend canons. My entire family has them and we'll never get anything else.

yes they are blues. And yes, bridgesii and diffusa are the same. Diffusa is the updated classification for bridgesii. I prefer bridgesii still, lol, but will commonly refer to them as bridgesii/diffusa.
Diffusa? I thought ours were Bridgesii...or is that a subspecies?
They used to be Pomacea bridgesii. Ken Hayes had the name recently changed as Pomacea diffusa although it is still widely debated that Pomacea diffusa is possibly a subspecies of Pomacea bridgesii. It has been called Pomacea bridgesii effusa as well but the name is also outdated. The name Pomacea bridgesii still circulate around as it has stuck already.

They are legal.
Both blue and ivory have similar shell color but blue mysteries have a dark body.
