Cobweb looking stuff on my brain and anemone??

Does anybody know what this stuff is? I have someone who comes to service my tank once a month and he didnt seem to kno what it was. It looks just like cobwebs! Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am so glad I found this site. This is my first post. I am a new aquarist and hope to gain enough knowledge to keep my reef and fish hhappy!

Hmmmm. The first thing that comes to mind is that it's mucus that is filling with debris. If you follow the strands of the "web" where do they end? Some immobile snails use mucus strands to catch food.
