Questions about Anthias

I saw one of thes at the LFS store several months ago and since then I have been thinking about getting one but I keep hearing different things. I have heard that you need 1 male and several females in order for them to survive. I have also heard that you can have one male and he will do just fine by himself. anyone have these in their tank or know more info about them???

The only anthias that I've ever heard of surviving are the fathead anthias. I can't think of the scientific name, but that's what I've always seen it sold as. They need alot of room, but I think they're ok on their own (anyone else?). They are deep water fishes though, so they appreciate subdued lighting, though I'm sure that's more of a recommendation and not a requirement.
