Lots of new fish pictures *Load Warning!*

I received my shipment of new Blue Angelfish in today and I must say that I'm pretty pleased. They are absolutely beautiful. They're just juveniles at 2". (Can't wait to see them when they're grown.)

About a week ago I added a school of Australian Rainbows and have a few pics of them, as well.

Unfortunately, my Bichir committed suicide shortly after adding the Rainbows. I found him on the living room floor when I came home from work the other day.:( I'm surprised the cats didn't try to eat him.
Anyway, the silver lining is now I should be able to add some small fish to this tank without worrying about the Bichir eating them. I want to add some Otos, Corys and a Bristlenose or Snowball Pleco to the mix. Maybe some Cherry Shrimp, too.

This tank has some algae issues right now but hopefully I'll get it under control before it gets too out of hand.

Thanks, I already posted that info (two posts before yours), but they are $20 each.

Petluvr, the shipping cost as much as the 2 fish did, unfortunately - ($43 FedEx Priority overnight)....but these guys were worth it to me. They're not always available and can be difficult to find. I've been looking for some Blues for awhile now so when I found them, I jumped on it.

Yeah, I thought of that possibility even though some people have and do keep them together without issue. While they are still young it would be fine, but when grown I agree the shrimp probably would be snacks. Which is why I said 'maybe' I'd get some. ;) It might be a good idea to test them with a few cheap ghost shrimp first.

Thanks :) ...and very healthy, too. They're aggressive little eaters that manage to get enough food even with the speedy Rainbows darting around snapping it all up. I'm looking forward to watching them grow to adulthood. Hopefully, I have a male and female as I'd like to try to breed them.

Thanks. I don't plan on getting the Rams but thought someone might be interested in them....but who knows, maybe I will someday. They look incredible. I'm not a fish-breeder but I have bred or spawned a few species over the years. If these Angels turn out to be breeders, I'll probably get them their own 60G tank and some fry-rearing tanks, as well.

No kidding. I'm getting the itch myself... Now, just the matter of where to put them. Imagine that solid color on a nice long fin ram. Hmmm... Might have to get to work on that.

Updated pics on the tank itself. The plants are coming along and almost no algae. :) All the Hydrocotyle came from clippings from the 10g. I love this plant.
