aluminum CO2 cylinders from ebay

Any advantages/disadvantages to an aluminum cylinder versus steel? I can buy a brand new ebay cylinder (10 lb.) for about $95 shipped and was wondering if this seemed reasonable.

no real advantage/disadvantage.. the steel will obviously weigh more..

I think it's a good deal. You are not going to hang the cylender so weight should not matter.

Seems like I'll go that route, because I called a local gas shop and they wanted $150 for a used 10 lb. cylinder.

I bought a aluminum tank and its nice and light easy to move. the down side is that there is only one place that will fill the tank as a walk in. If I were to do it again I would do a rental at a beverage store. So I could just walk in and do an exchange. The rental does not cost any more than buying your own tank. Something to look into.
