Wierd Cuts and Fin Damage

My SunCatfish has developed three cuts on the side and a red anal fin. I think the red anal fin could be infection but the cuts I can't explain.:confused: There is nothing in the tank that would be able to cut it since its a barebottom tank with just a heater and AC filter.

Any ideas of what this could be and how I could treat it?
I've been doing 70 percent water changes everyday since sunday and hopefully that will help

Could he have jumped and cut himself on the hood or something?
 
There is no hood on the tank, just a light. That is possible but if it did jump there would be very high chances that it would jump out
 
I don't know. I know some species of catfish are sensitive to salts and medications do to their lack of scales. I would bump the temperature of the water up a few degrees to help with the healing process.
