Just broyught home 4 pieces Parrot cichlids.

Any tips? they are currently in a 300 gallon tank withsome severums

btw noticed mine have longer dorsal fin that the picture below

are they a different variety?
Can thye be mixed?

Really nice parrots! Their longer dorsal fins might mean they're just a different local of that species. They should do fine with your sevs.

Nice parrot...gonna need a little TLC....What were they in with that shredded it's fins?

thanks :) the one with the shredded fin waqs given to me, i think it was inflicted by another parrot, since the owner bought 2 pieces, and it was bullied by the other one, It was given to me in the morning and i went out to get 3 more in the afternoon, So far they seem ok, no fighting. my severums are much larger than them.

Really nice fish to own.

I had some about 11 years ago and kept the in the 15,000 for 5 or 6 years.

wow, what happened to them? were you able to breed them?:) what did you feed them, also how do you feed your fisg in 15000 Gallons?

they have grown a lot in 3 months
