HC or Hemianthus callitrichoides cuba - I am going to upgrade it to a 10 gallon pretty soon.

Yes it can be grown submersed. I do not have the patience for CO2 and it needs CO2 when grown submersed.

Thank you. I used a mix of my own compost, organic soil, and a bit of potting mix. Seems to love it, I keep it covered and humid.

If I had fish..I would TOTALLY put that in the tank! It looks like aquatic grass!

And w/a stand I scored off freecycle I finally got my HC moved to the 10g on the bottom and put a 10g shrimp tank up top
