I just don't have any luck with getting my peacocks or my ahlis to breed. One time my female ob peacock had babies, and I could only find one baby, and it disappeared. In the same tank, my yellow labs are always having babies. In fact, the female is holding yet again. And in my other tank, my mbunas are really prolific as well as my keneyis. What is with the peacocks and ahlis?

What is the M/F ratio in your peacocks?

IMO, yes. I think you should have at least 3 females for each male; so that the males can have more options and find a receptive female, easier.
