Check out this site.
http://www.cichlasoma.nl/Cichlids%20of%20Central%20America/Main.htm

It's a superb website with just about any information you could possibly need about keeping CA-cichlids, check the link "Decoration" for some nice tips how to get a natural looking CA tank.

Here's a couple of pics of my own jaguartank. It's not finished yet and looks kind of empty, I'm gonna add some more rocks and some different sizes of sand to get a more natural look to it.

wow how long/big is that tank.... that last shot of all the fry spread out through the tank is mind boggleing, good thing you aren't required to house all those as adults:D

Hehe, you're so right, I wouldn't be suprise if there are about 1000 of those little guys in the tank in that shot. :D

The tank is 59x20x20 inches, it's perfect as a breeding tank for jags but it's impossible to have anything else in the tank besides a couple of plecos.

WOW! That tank is awesome.

That poor gibbiceps pleco looks like a bite size snack in there.

Aha! Thanks for the tranlation.

That 265 is very nice. I wish the pictures were bigger though.

I was seriously considering a 265 just last month, but wasn't sure if it could make it down the stairs to the basement. The 180 was easy since it's acrylic. :)

Thanks. :)
The male is nearly 11" and the female 9" and it took them about a year and a half to get from 2" to this size.

Thanks, I really like the smooth look and curves on them, I got them from the LFS for about $50 each. Overpriced like crazy...
