My name is Adrian. I live in San Diego. I have been in the hobby since my Dad was in the hobby which was when dinosaurs ruled the earth. I am a freshwater man, and right now, I have a 300 gallon tank with a 26" Jardini, a 20" shovelnose catfish, and a 22" redtail catfish. All my life I have used a canister filter and now want to transition to a sump. I have heard and seen good things a sump can do . . . the water seems clearer, the maintenance seems to be easier, plus you get those "water fall" sounds which is "soothing to the soul" 
. I am amazed at how knowledgable the members are here. I hope to absorb that knowledge and share my own experiences with everybody (or to whomever cares to listen).
