Doesn't seem like this site gets much action, but I'm signing up and introducing myself anyway. My addiction is a 120 gal. African Cichlid tank which currently houses 19 various cichlids ... 1 Moliro, 1 Duboisi, 2 Phenichilus, 1 Blue Dolphin, 1 Albino Zebra, 1 Pro Insignis, 1 Elongatus, 1 Red Top Ndumbi, 1 Hongi, 1 Acei (Ngara White Tail), 1 Afra (Cobue Orange Back), 2 Polit, 1 Red Fin Borleyi, 1 Exasperatus, 1 Midnight Peacock, 1 Sunshine Peacock & 1 Red Peacock. My fish have been purchased from all over ... Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Virginia Beach, Baltimore, Lancaster ... to name a few.
In my 55 gal. tank I keep what I suspect to be 1 Chilotilapia euchilus, 1 'Fire Blue' Red Empress & 1 Rock Kribensis ... along with 1 Tangerine Tiger, 2 Fusco's, 1 Jewel, 1 Aurutus & 1 Red Empress. The downside to purchasing several juveniles of varying species at the same time would certainly be the possibility of ending up with several females which are nearly impossible to identify ... which is why I can only speculate on the euchilus & fire blue. The Rock Krib was purchased as just that and hasn't really changed appearance since it was a juvenile. Problem is ... I haven't been able to find a single photo of this particular fish. The Rock Kribs look nothing like mine. It resembles an Obliquiden - but without the red/yellow coloring.
So, that's my story so far. Feel free to comment or ask questions!!!
