South Beach Diet for a Tiger Barb?

Do Tiger Barbs tend to get fat? Several of the ones in my 60 gallon are tubby and have been that way for quite some time. They swim just fine and eat like crazy.

Those are female barbs. She's looking pretty ripe too and will probably lay her some of her eggs soon. That will be a good caviar feast for all your fishes. The male barbs noses will turn a brighter red also when they are spawning. Its a treat to watch.
