hi can any 1 give me a clue how to catch my sfe with out pulling rock work apart. he has munched on my clean up crew and now started havin pop at my fish without any luck yet i want to catch him and put in another tank .he is about 20" long ..i feed him about 3 times a week..
i have try food in a bottle with no luck:huh:..

I caught mine with two black plastic flower pots taped together top-to-top. The pots created a dark cave that the eel wanted to be in more than the live rock. The drainage holes were the perfect size for him to swim through but without feeling trapped.

Basically he just swam into the trap I created and I was able to take the whole thing, with him in it, out of the tank.

If your using a trap the eel has to want to go into it more than stay in the live rock, otherwise it just won't go in.
