I really want to thank everyone who were (and still are) so great about helping me out and answering all my questions! I have the tank all set up, I just need to stick the turtle filter in there to help get it cycling. Thought I'd post some pictures anyway!

Very Nice!
Nice! Looks like you put in several sword plants. They will get huge if you have enough lighting. Are you going to put on a background?

I haven't decided on a background or not - I've never really seen a tank that had one, so I don't know what they look like, to be honest.
Yes, I forgot those little tubes at PetSmart come with multiple plants... Oh well. I like lots of plants. :) I know they get huge, too - I figured when they get too big, I might be able to prune them back, or I might be able to stick them in the turtle tank, even though they won't last long then.

Looks nice. Most of us like black backgrounds. To try it out, take a black trash bag and tape it to the back. Or you can pick up a pack of construction paper from your local superstore and try different colors until you find what you like.

Nice start.
I use dark blue textured foil giftwrap as a background. It's cheap and shows off what's in the tank.
Try some fertilizer balls or tabs at the roots of your sword plants. They like lots of nutrients. By the time they get big you'll be all set to plant out your new 75g. :grinyes:
