Nice video, Jacki. I hadn't seen a shrimp doing that. Tank is gorgeous too... and your rasboras have nice coloring.

Thank you. I love my critters. Thanks for the help posting it.

Awesome Jacki!! What makes it look so white and cottony? It seems to get fluffier and puffier as she moves her little legs.

I love your tank. Your plants are gorgeous and so healthy looking. Those Rasboras look beautiful, too.

I'm so jealous!! You made everything look so pretty!

Sne is holding her eggs in her swimmerettes and stirs them constantly so they are oxygenated. There are some really great pictures in the photo gallery (not mine, darn it) that show the eggs in amazing detail. Unfortunately they won't turn into shrimplettes without brackish water. :(

This is the link to the pictures.

Wow, those were cool pictures. I have a ghost shrimp with eggs right now, sad that they won't become babies in my tank.

Why not? Ghost shrimp do well in fresh water. Mine is an Amano and they are a little different. If you have a male and female you should get babies at some point. Don't despair!

i have berried ghosties as well and the guy at my LFS said they should be able to reproduce in FW is that true?

there are several species of "ghost" shrimp, some will complete life cycle in fw, some require brackish.

great vid jacki!
