I ended up with ich somehow, someway. i still can't figure it out i take pretty Meticulous care of my tank but anyway, i got it so i'll stop b!tching now.

I am treting the tank with ric-ich, have removed the carbon from both filters and did a 25% water change. Tank temp is set at around 80 degrees right now. i've heard that i should raise it higher but i don't want to hurt my fish. How high can these guys endore? i have:

1 large "black shark"
4 clown loaches
2 large sevrums
1 firemouth
1 hondurin red fin
1 tinfoil barb
few rainbows
1 large blood parrot

PH is fine as are other water parmameters.

I think you would have better luck treating that ich with Quick Cure - keep your temp between 82-85.

85 degree? Isn't that a bit high? Even breeding temperature isn't that high.

fighting with rid-ich (sorry i spelled wrong above), have the tank at 80 now, guess another two degrees won't hurt?

Ich really sucks!!

But thanksfor the help.
