What kind of medicine you are using? Some ich med isn't that great...takes a heck of a long time to sink into the fish system.
I use Super Ick. One time, my fish were also dying from ich. I used this med for 3 treatments...they were all lively and better. I just make sure I did water changes the next day after I put in the med. A day after water change...I treat them again.
Did you take the carbon out of the filter when you put in the treatment. I'm using Eheim. It was such a pain in the neck to remove the carbon every time I put in the med...so...I shut off the filter for 2 to 3 hours each time I put in the med.
Some people will disagree with me, but heck! It worked on my fishes and they were cured.

I shut off my filter as well and only run aeration when I am medicating. Also raise the temperature if the water to about 85 to 88 degrees F and add a little aquarium salt(not table salt or saltwater salt but aquarium salt). The parasite or whatever cant live in water that warm. Watch your pH if you add the salt it might go up. Good Luck. :)
