Looks great, but are you burying your anubias' rhizomes in the gravel?

because they love it! there is some gravel but mostly amazonian substrate. doesn't seem to have any ill effect. note the bloom...

I bury my Anubius Rhizomes in the gravel all the time--I have lots and every 2-3 weeks clip off some to friends and LFS.

i mush everything down into the sand then pull it up so the rhizome is sitting above the sub.. i've always heard they will rot if buried

i think folks worry too much about anubias'. we have had great luck with them in all sorts of enviornments. in substrate and on driftwood. good water conditions should be the number 1 priority!!

everyone seems to be happy!! months together with no problems. no chasing really. sometimes he goes after the baby mollies!!! he is so personable! will flare up and come to the glass everytime we are near. probably our favorite fish! almost puppy-ish!! loaches come in close!!
