hi, my anubias bateri eyes have been tied to a lace rock cave with monofilament and have been doing well for 5 months, but recently have started to turn yellow and get lacey holes in them. my other plants which are anacharis and watersprite are doing okay, but the java moss is being attacked by BBA.
my setup is a 10g brackish with SG 1.005.
ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 10 - 20 ppm.
i have 2 spiral CFL 14w daylight 5500k bulbs totaling 28 watts (10hrs of light a day).
yeast type Co2 system 1bps diffused with a DIY reactor.
im also dosing with API leaf zone which contains potassium and iron weekly after a water change.
i'm not sure what it could be, am i missing trace elements? magnesium deffiency?

I moved this from brackish to the FW planted forum as it is likely to get more views by people who can give useful input here.

Go to Aquatic Eden and there is picture showing the characteristics for various chemical deficiencies. I think the original is from APC, hope this helps.
Looks like it could be phosphate related, but I'll let you decide. Hope this helps. Good luck.

it does seem like a potassium difficiency from the picture on aquatic eden, but i've been dosing with API Leaf Zone which contains soluble potash (K2O) derived from potassium sulfate (K2SO4) at guaranteed analasys 0-0-3 - 3% and iron (Fe) 0.1% - 0.1% chelated Iron (Fe) derived from Iron EDTA. should i start dosing more than is directed, which is 5ml per 10g? is this safe to do?

if you have flourish products available to you i'd go with those for a ten gallon. i can only get leaf zone locally and i don't find it to be that helpful

thanks for all the help so far everyone. i've seen seachem flourish excel being sold, but i havent had any luck finding seachem flourish or seachem flourish trace being sold yet. i think i might invest in some dry ferts and mix my own, but i'm very unsure of what to buy when i visit the site aquariumfertilizers.com any suggestions? i think i have enough nitrogen and phosphates in my water already and the carbon is being supplied by a yeast type Co2 system.
