Three new bubble eye goldfish

Yep. 150 gallons. Fluval FX5. 80% water changes 1-2 times per week. Goldfish, platies, guppies, dojo loach, danios. 2-3" sand, live plants. New Life Spectrum food exclusively. They all love it. I will try and get a good updated video of the tank.

Very nice selection! I certainly admire a planted goldfish tank and I am aiming for this definitely. So far, my crypts and lotus were able to remain free from attacks by my goldfish although my Egeria densa was not spared. How are the danios faring with your goldfish? My experience with different batches of danios is always consistent. They are far too obnoxious in getting their share of food.

There are few danios compared to goldfish and I feed so heavily that it is not an issue. Most people want to know how the smaller fish have not been eaten, but my goldfish are so slow it isn't an issue.
Plants include: Amazon sword, radican sword, giant hygrophila, moss balls, tiger lotus, cabomba, moneywort, red ludwigia, anubias, vals, and many others. Swords are a really good bet.

Now you had me wanting to drop by my favorite shop later for new plants! Yes, I knew the danios are very fast to elude the goldfish but I was more concerned about goldfish being outcompeted for food. Thanks for the tips, Reptile!

These are truly magnificent fish. Love those bubble eyes-- the black bubble eye is one of my dream fish! What beautiful plantings, as well. Inspirational! :)
