Last night I went into one of the LFS near me, not really looking for anything in particular and left wishing I had space / money for more tanks.
Usually they do not have much out of the ordinary at this store, but today they had some really great looking pleco's, not sure what kind, but they were black / cream striped and about 4-5" long. I do know they were not zebra though. I then notice a huge veil angel, there was no price on it, and it was not in with the other angels, so I wonder if it was a rescue of some kind. This fish was amazing looking, it was at least 9" tall, long flowing fins, red eyes, silver with (I think) around 3 black bars. If I had money for a new tank, or could have put this one in my 55G with my existing angel without seeing them tear each other to pieces I would have bought it there and then.
How often do you go into the LFS and leave wishing you had space / tanks / money? I often wish I had a bigger tank, but rarely do I see a fish that makes me really want to buy it.
