Bump. A trio would be great too. As long as I have at least one male and one female.

My pair has been adamantly abstinent at this point, despite my best efforts at creating a romantic aquascape.

Not to thread steal, but I've been looking for some of these as well bio, and everyone I've looked into is out of stock. Not that many folks carry them. I know there is someone on AC that has one as their avatar.

Man, I have GOT to find a wholesale lot of these. I could quit my job and just sell Peacock Gudgeons! I know a couple of people here own them, but I guess no one is raising fry right now.
I working with MsJinkzd right now, and she's scouting around for some. Maybe she'll find a big lot, and sell them on here.

That would rock! A few of those guys, some galaxy rasboras, and some ember tetra and I'd be set. :D

This says 12 fish, mixed sexes. $75 bid or Buy It Now for $90, ends in a day.

http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?fw&1245610810 Only one fish but says others can be bought for same price, only $10 each.

Yeah, like I have that much to spend on 12 fish. It's not even that good of a deal... especially when you add 35$ or so in shipping. Then it's at least 110$ Thats around $9.20 a fish.

I just sent an email to the seller of this lot though. http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?fw&1245778202 3 gudgeons for 18 isn't too bad, but it depends on shipping and whether he can sex them.

My LFS sells 'em for $4.99 a piece. But they're just tiny little things.

I'm also looking for these. I recently messaged Frank from Franksaquarium.com and he said that he gets them in a few times a year but they're not on his import list right now. He said he'd order them when he sees them next...

I also messaged Lotsoffish from Aquabid, and he said he has a tank full of babies right now and they'll be sale-able in about a month.

Yeah, I've been watching Franks too, as MsJinkzd mentioned he often has them. I have found one place I could get them... but they are 6$ each, and shipping is 20$, and since I want 3, it would be 38$. And, the shipping is not guaranteed. I just have trouble spending 40 bucks on 3 fish that could arrive dead. I'm still deciding.

Hey everyone. Peacock Gudgeons are awesome. My favorite.

I had a breeding pair, but since I moved to my new house with well water, I lost my female. Something is not right in the water...

I have 8 of their fry that survived the move. They are currently living/growing in a fry tank. I eventually hope to have a Peacock Gudgeon breeding program going in my basement, but that fully depends on if these fry grow and decide to spawn.

The fry grow EXTREMELY slowly. Exteremely. It takes them a good 4 months to get to a decent size where they start to show their colors, and probably around 8-12 months to become full-grown.

Good luck finding them! They are a joy, and really worth the money. I spent $45 shipped on my pair when I bought them about 7 months ago.

Some guy is selling 2 batches on aquabid right now. Each batch has 6 PG's in it.
