Rubber Lip?

I came back from a vacation a couple of weeks ago and my mom got me a rubber lip pleco as a gift. I wasnt able to find much on them, and apparently it is a different variety (white spotted or something like that) I will try to find the scientific name but Back to my question how big do they get??? are they like a bristlenose where they only get to be about 5" or are they like the common plec and get to almost a foot? Also how hardy are these compared to others and are they rare, etc..... thanks!

this is what it looks like....scientific name chaetosoma pearsei
apparently it's the "rubbernose", not the rubber lip..

the site doesnt say much about it, And i dont know anyplace that does... If anybody knows anything about it or anywhere i could find the info it would be greatly appreciated:)

Dont' know about htat perticular species of rubber nose but i do know the regular ones at the LFs like cooler temps(low 70's) and lost of current and airation.
