As a new member here I would like to introduce myself. I live in Michigan and after many years away from keeping fish I am once again getting involved. My daughter Kyryah, who I refer to affectionately as the "Tank Nazi", is a member here and got me to join. I will be sitting up a 30 gallon Hex tank with all natural media. I got lucky enough to purchase this tank from a neighbor very cheaply, because she thought it had a leak. After getting no results from a leak test decided to bring it home and comense to setting it up. I got so far as to have the sand in and it filled with water on Tuesday night only to have the mystery leak appear and to have to drain it, remove the sand and re-silicone the bottom. I have purchased some Koi and Blusher Angels from tropics007 and some of my coveted LongFin Albino Bristlenose Plecos from Meili.harrison, along with an assortment of plants and one each of blue, gold, ivory and black briggs snails from a local fish store and Kyryah is so kindly giving me a very nice Deep purple stripe one. This weekend I will be conducting a search for wood to add to the tank. We will see how it shapes up in the weeks to come.
