So i ordered some copepods

and they are now here

How do i get them out of the bottle and acclimate them?

I would just float the bottle for an hour or so and then pour them in. No way to really acclimate them chemically. If there is space in the bottle I guess you could put some of your water into the bottle.

That said, good luck. I never had much luck with those. tried 2 or 3 bottles and within a week they were gone.

Two months ago, out of nowhere, my refugium exploded with copepods and amphipods. Crazy.

I have to say, I to purchased the Tiger Pods that you can get at the LFS which are in the little bottles - pretty expensive if I remember correctly. I put it in my fuge and I think I just tossed my money away. Haven't seen a sign of them or a benefit of them since. And they have lots of LR and Macro for a good environment.

I found a local supplier of amphipods and I do seed from time to time (each month) to keep the population up.

As Lanimret said, no real way to acclimate except for temp or addition of your tank water if there is room. Pretty hardy creatures.
