How do I go about moving my plants around, without hurting them? I want to make the tank look cleaner.

what kind of plants do you have? what kind of substrate?

gravel substrate, and a mixture of plants I will get some photos for some help id ing some of the plants.

Most plants can be dug up and moved, but it will depend on the complexity of the root structure.

if i remember right, crypts don't like to be moved. like jpappy said, most plants will do fine. plus if you think about it... that's how they got to your tank in the first place.
since you're pulling your plants out it would be a great time to switch substrate to something a little better for your plants.

already in the process to convince the wife I need a better substrate, but she said I can do it when I get my bigger tank.
