Is there any interest in owning Bladderwort? I found it in one of our shrimp tanks. It was a hitchhiker cause I didn't add it. Is there anyone that would want it? I'm going to throw it out if not...

Either dry it first then throw it out (never throw plants in trash unless dried) or post in the classified.

What type of bladderwort is it? If it is thin and skinny it probably is U. gibba (tropical). If it is a long strand that rarely branches then it may be a native in which case it will require dormancy. My guess is U. gibba though. I know if will grow better if you can partially bury it in the substrate. There it may be able to feed on young (very young) if that helps you at all. I do agree with drying it... I'd even microwave it just because it is pretty resilient. I grow it with my other carnivores but still give it it's own little tub.

For those interested, it is a neat little plant!
