I am confused about the difference b/w the dif flourish products, particularly which one has the best iron source Flourish, or Flourish-iron. which one is best for daily use? i have been using my own recipe, and i dont think i am keeping everything in the correct proportions.
for instance, i think i have too much K (from KNO and PSO additions) which is limiting my Ca intake.
i dose with a chelated iron i dissolve, but i am suspect of its integrity, hence my search for a good daily drop that has all trace elements in the correct %. oh yeah, there is Flourish trace too?
which product do you all use?

I use Flourish Iron for dosing after each of my water changes. Flourish Trace I use every 2-3 days. Flourish Pottassium I use after each water change. I could use something else in place of Flourish Pottassium, but the store that sells it is a great place and I figure a few extra bucks to keep a good source around is worth it.

I add about 2 ml of regular Flourish to my 72 gallon tank every other water change and my plants love it. I could not believe the difference this stuff makes. My three strands of Cabomba that I bought a month ago has almost tripled. Good stuff. :)

I dose all Seachem products at double strength. My dosing schedule is as follows:
Sunday:
50% water change
Trace, Florish, Iron, Potasium, KNO3
Wednesday:
Florish, Potasium, KNO3
I dont do the Iron and Trace on Wednesday. This has been working well for me up till now. I am tired of forking out the bucks for this stuff though. That is why I am inquiring for ingredients for PMDD.
BTW: You didnt post the link to your pic. Please post again.

There's a post hiding somewhere around here with the listing of what you can get for all the macronutrient parts of the equation cheap.
I believe it was:
Sulfur of Potash from the local greenhouse
Stump remover for the KNO3
Fleet Enema from the drug store for the potassium.
I am at work and have it all written down at home. So I will probably be editing this post when I get home and look at my notes.

Darren,
I change about 30% of my water every Saturday. The Florish bottle suggests 1-2 ml per 50 gallons every other week, I think. I don't want to use more than this as I have had some algae problems in the past. Anyway it seems to be working. :)
