I just received my plants, and I have never kept this plant before, but I thought hygro corombosa had smoother leaves......this plant seems to have ruffly edges, and is darker green than I expected. Also, the stems are of a reddish-brown. The texture is kind of like rose bush leaves, I think I was expecting more of a crypt-like textured leaf.

So what do you think?

doesnt really look like mine when i bought it (which was grown emersed) or how it looks now. let me see if i can find some pics for ya

yeah, i googled, but didn't come up with much. Thanks for looking!

It looks like a plant that should be grown emersed....but what do I know?

That is definitely not an aquatic grown plant. I would email the person you got the package from and ask them to please explain what it is.

in this pic it was fairly new to my tank and had a bit of a redish to purplish tinge to it with darker leaves. there is 2 plants a little to the left of the flower pot

okay, well, it must be an aquatic plant I am thinking now, there is a stem that broke off, so I left it out of the water I have the plants temporarily stored in, and it is shriveling bigtime. I'm a little confused. Gonna call them now.
