so at an LFS yesterday thati dont usually go to i found salt water flakes. ive been wanting these for awhile cause the the mysis shrimp are such a pain to cut up every night and the make a big mess in the tank. i tried feeding it to my pajama cardinals last night but they appeared to not know how to eat it... they looked at swam around it a bit and left it. should i try mixing it with the mysis shrimp im feeding them? im trying to get them more into the flakes than mysis. thanks guys!

I think you will find that it is trial and error. The flakes are floating and most fish won't d o much about it. They like the things that move in the water column, even the pellets move through the water column. The PJC will take to it after a while, they just don't know what it is yet.
BTW Which flake did you go with?

Sounds like a good idea, and they sound to be responsive.
