Prime and false positive ammonia readings...

Hey now all,

I read somewhere last night that prime will give a false positive on ammonia readings.

Have any of you ever experienced this when using prime?
Is this true?

Yes, especially on Nessler based tests (i.e., those that use a single reagent).
