Chinese algee eater stunted growth?

I was wondering if it is possible to stunt a Chinese algae eater's growth so it would stay at around 4 inches and also not be that aggressive as it towards other fish as it grows older.

i am in no way promoting this and will get flamed for this question as i know its cruel but i am just wondering how one would go about to do this?

Don't feel too discouraged by the responses, krazee. The reason intentional stunting isn't going to help at all is because it puts the health and well-being of the fish in jeaopardy. A stunted fish doesn't survive, long-term... unless the condition that caused it is corrected. So trying to do that deliberately will eventually kill the fish instead.

Kashta is correct. Not a lot of research has been presented (to my knowledge) to show the specific effects of stunting. But one thing is for sure, they do not usually live to the normal age.

Also keep in mind that stunting does not change the personality of the fish into a more docile fish. In able to get a smaller fish, special breeding techniques would have to be employed. As far as personality goes . . . . . . . .
