Well to start it off, I have had a few weird things happen to my tank. First there was the gatoraide incident, where a full 16oz bottle fell into my tank thanks to a friend. But I have also had a case of Airsoft bb's get dumped into the tank. Whats even better is that one of my rams at that time was protective of one of the bb's. every time I tried to take it out, he would chase after my hand and nip at me. It was hilarious. I finally said screw it and I left it in there.

Thats it for now, I don't want to hog anything.

Well, this more of the little something end of it.

There were a lot of Mystery snails of various sizes on the front glass of my aquarium, and four Kuhli loaches swimming quickly up and down against it, so it basically looked like the loaches were running an obstacle course. It was pretty psychedelic and dizzying, because of all the snail colors and the yellow-and-black of the Kuhlis.

When I was a saltie I had a hard coral grow on a seaswirl outlet all by itself. It got to be about 3" round and 2" tall.

Gatorade. . . I panicked. Haha. Outside of that, I had one of my African Dwarf Frogs swim lazily to the top, slowly roll into a face down position, and float straight down into the substrate where his head got stuck :-p A moment passed as I was sitting there wondering if I had just witnessed the passing of my beloved frog, when he began to kick his legs trying in a less-than-effective effort to extract his head from the gravel. Haha. I wish I had a video of it. It was straight out of an old cartoon.

My BN plec's underbelly go suctioned to my canister intake after the prefilter fell off...then the filter proceeded to back siphon all the water onto my floor...

This wasn't exactly in my tank but last night I was filtering out the duckweed from my 40. I drape a large net across the top of my tank and skim the duckweed into the net. Then I take it out to my pond and swish it around to get it all out of the net. I then toss the net into a bucket. I did a water change in my 20 and started putting everything away, looked in the bucket and there were FISH in it! OMG! They had been sitting there a good twenty minutes with no water and I didn't even know where they came from! I freaked out and kinda scooped them into my 40 just knowing they were dead. It turned out to be some whiteclouds I accidently scooped out of the pond when I was rinsing the net. Poor fishies. The good part is that they look great this morning and are schooling with my neons. I am amazed.

Just the other night I was sitting here at my desk, and I glanced at my 125 discus tank. I saw something white on the glass... I was baffled, I thought man, What is THAT?!? As I am looking at it, it shoots across the tank, like SUPER fast! in a straight line! Now I was really confused.. As I got up, to get a better look, it flew away. turned out to be a moth or something, on the outside! I thought it was some wierd parasite on the inside!!

Guess you had to be there!

Before I gave away my goldfish, I had 4 in a 10 gallon tank with an airstone. The kind that is a long strip and you gotta weight down with some gravel. Anyway, one morning I go to feed the fish and one of them is missing. The tank only had small 2 inch plastic plants as decorations, so the fish had nowhere to hide. I looked all over in the tank, on the screen, and around the outside of tank and could not find the missing fish.

Next morning I go to feed the fishies and I notice something different. WHAT?! Where did you come from?! The missing fish was back and eating his flakes. I looked around in the tank and saw that one half of the air stone had dislodged itself and was just kinda floating there.

That fish is hardcore to have survived a day trapped under that thing. Did he push the strip up to liberate himself? Was it just luck that the strip became dislodged? Who knows. It's a mystery.

Well, I don't know if it's weird, but before I added some height to the wall that separate the tank and the filter on my bio cube, my orange glofish would jump into the filter every chance he'd get, and I'd have to fish him out.

Once, he even jumped into the tray part, slid down a tiny hole in the side, was washed down through all the bio balls, and came out in the pump return!

Probably when there was a stink bug crawling on the part of one of my vals that wasn't in the water, or when one of those buggers ended up floating in the tank and my fish could not seem to get it although beleive me, they were acting as if they hadn't eaten in a year. LOL
