If anyone frequents this post, then they are probably familiar with one of my posts of what my loach was. Now that it's been established as a Zodiac loach, has anyone had any personal experience with them? I've read up some conflicting information about their temperament, anything from aggressive fin nippers to passive community fish. I currently have one so he's been pretty shy, not even bothering my 2 angels. I want to manage my snail population (my filter was down for a couple days because impeller cap got damaged and I had to order a new one; so within those days, the snail population increased somewhat) so I want to get a couple more. I have a 55 gal with a couple fish so I have the space for a couple more and I love my bottom dwellers so I think it would be great to add a couple more.
How are their temperaments with other fish as soon as you get a school of them and how effective are they with snails?
