Hello all, today I bought my 3 2'' oscars and my 6'' geo juruapri, 4'' geo brasilnelis, 3'' geo altfron/suri, and 3'' geo balazinii a new tankmate. Today I bought an unided pike for only 15 dollars. This pike cichlid is only 5'' and is peacuful. He eats like a pig and gets along with the geos and oscars. My lfs told me they did not know what the pike is. So I will turn to you guys. I'll have pics of him soon.

Yeah the oscars will put a massive bio load on yr filter. Iv kept a few and they are very messy. Have u thought of thinning out yr flock, maybe take the oscars back as a start as they grow fast. As stocking yr tank go's schooling fish give u less hassle! Buying more of one species leads to less fighting as they school and do not need individual terroratries. The schooling looks amazing and although u can only have so many fish they are peaceful. Some say 10g per adult fish some say 15 but u count oscars twice as the mess they make.
As water changers go youll need to do a 20 to 30 percent twice a week. Thats alot of water, anyway enough of that photos photos of yr complete setup please??????????????

ps most oscar keepers say 100 to 150 g a pair of fish. Go to www.oscarfishlovers.com the guy is an oscar nut!!!!

ok but why do you allways need to see pics of my tank??? And mostly cichlids how is the 150 overstocked??
