Really a very nice tank and superb looking fishes, ibr3ak! I like a lot the look and positioning of those plants, also.
Really sharp tank - great looking fish too.

Very-very nice! Yellow labs and Acei really compliment each other. I just added some Acei to my lab tank.
Are your fish F1? Is that even a big deal with Mbuna?

It looks like a restaurant show tank. I love the nice clean uncluttered look, and it really showcases the fish.

As far as I know they're all tank raised from tr parents, but they did come from a local breeder rather than the lfs.
I think it's more important to get them from a trustworthy source rather than them being bred from wc fish, because as is with alot of mouthbrooders mbuna will hybridize readily if not adequately stocked. Lately I've seen more and more red zebra/yellow lab hybrids at some local lfs's. So just shop around or get them from reputable breeders :)

@myswtsins (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/member.php?u=87644), thanks :), I've had a tank crash one night and woke up to all fish floating around dead. Was kinda bitter sweet since I wanted breeding groups instead of an all male setup, but it did suck losing some nice looking adults.
@grays (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/member.php?u=97352), thank you as well, that's granite, I picked up a bunch of it from a local beach.

Sorry to hear that! Do you know what cause the crash?

I agree! I missed the last round of updates, just caught up a couple days ago but the thread was from 4/03 so I wasn't going to resurrect it.

lol
myswtsins (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/member.php?u=87644) I suspect that it was a suddent decrease of oxygen in the water, I saw a couple of peacocks at the surface, (which I'm guessing now) were gasping for air, which was kinda unusual for them, so I did about a 70% water change that night, the colder water did put some oxygen back in the tank, but I should've also dropped the water level and put an air stone in temporaryly to aggitate the surface better. Unfortunately it was too late in the morning.
I'm liking the breeding setup more than all male though, even though all was good it took a while to find the fish that'd get along with each other, and plenty of back and forth exchanges to the lfs, with breeding groups it's alot easier.
