Is my Platy pregnant?

Hi all,
I'm new to fish and got this Platy a week ago from my brother. I've just noticed in the last day that her belly looks distended and I don't know if she is pregnant or not. She's been sneaking some of the Algae wafer from my Pleco so I don't know if it's a full tummy or a pregnancy. Thanks!

Hi bbabe3, I don't think your platy is pregnant, at least I can't see the dark gravid spot. but it won't be too long before she is. if she has been in the company of males chances are she will be showing signs before too much longer, look out for the gravid spot. the dark spot in the picture below.

Okay good thanks guys. Pete, I was hoping she was not. I haven't had her around any males but my brother could have. He had just gotten her from the pet store so he only had her for a short time. He actually thought she was male and I did some research and found out she was not. She might be eventually seeing she could store the sperm for such a long time.
