what JL is trying to say is that since you are not one of the most active players and you're pretty new at this, the mafia would probably choose to hit one of the more experienced and influential players first, like Ice, Kashta, or JL.

You might want to think about that one before you answer.

What motivates the mafia hits is to remove innocents from the game without getting themselves lynched. You have to step out and think about the "drink before me" problem.

There are few people giving opinions. Most are just agreeing with others and not doing any real thinking or reading. Then they want to cry that they were being led.

I stated my case for DD and voted. If this was "influential" then people are just being lazy and not coming up with their own conclusions.

Trying to get people to play their own game will most likely cause my downfall. Luvbugz claims I have led her and in return has voted for me. I missed the whole first day. I am still worried about everyone voting for the outliers. Why would we vote FD or Dope when the main reason for them being suspect is suspicions voting associated with Luv. If Luv flips innocent it will not clear either of them but will push them much more innocent to me and if she is in fact Mafia they would be even better suspect in my book. I find the interest in my reasoning for my ploy vote with the current bandwagon was questioned far more thoroughly than the others who helped solidify the vote in the first place. So if I voted for the same reasons and stated them as such, that would certainly be "re-iterating your posts" and I certainly don't want to force that indignity upon you.

I find Kashta's suspect list dissonant with the actual occurrences thus far, and once you skip through to the "other comments" list, I find those that she(?) chooses to defend or find not worth investigating have some tendencies that to me look quite mafia. Conversely, I don't find her(?) points entirely invalid on those she wants to lynch, either. So I'd say that vote isn't set in stone at all, I'd just hate to be the swing vote that ended up lynching another civilian, so I'm still definitely thinking all of it over.

I will be AFK after midnight tonight and not be back until noon on Monday.

If I am not lynched or hit, I will be placing my vote before leaving work (midnight). With me not posting, it should be pretty easy to catch up on the thread.

If during this weekend I am lynched or hit could you (ZS) send me a PM so I don't have to read the whole thread to just find out I am dead. I will still watch and follow the game, but I can do it much more relaxed.

TRS, I have noodles leaning innocent, which could be a big mistake, but I am unwilling to vote for her until we find out other players roles.

There are two others on Luv, so you would tie it up. I wonder if FD would vote Luv to save herself.

I don't think they are. I am more leaning FD and Kash. I think FD dropped Luv's name (and not noods) in an effort to gain Luv's trust. Luv has defended FD and I think Luv wants to blame others for manipulating her when it has been FD and Kash.

Immediate concerns go out about Kash and JM, with the wierd Dopehand vote coming a close third. Ice always scares me, as do the Rockin Pandas. They're good.

i believe that my reason for voting Kash is valid. The lateness of it sucked, but it was the same vote I would've made earlier in the day. I think it's crazy to put me in the middle of a plot that involved. I think she's trying to deflect attenion away from herself. Getting DDoll lynched was a good start with LB and I next up, you're safe for a few days. Blech!

JL, I dont totally understand why you're voting me. I haven't really done anything scummy, and when you vote, others follow. Knock it off and look for mafia, not the low posting. You all know that this is not how I usually play.

actually, i think they are more likely to take out one of the more influential and experienced players than someone that does not post ever. if they take out the people that are actually doing the investigating, then they are more likely to last all of the way to the end, especially since they are already down one. the mafia wouldnt take out someone that had no experience just because they dont post any. in fact, they'd be the last person the mafia would hit.

As i was doing dishes i had a thought would Kashta intentionally post an incorrect rule if she was mafia. She came in with a post about hits needing to be placed a day ahead of time (how it was last game) and was quickly corrected by Ice and then a conformation from Z. I'm not begging for votes. I put out possibilities that could happen. If I was doing anything I was making it harder for them to lynch you and making a target of myself. Hopefully only mafia jump on me to give you guys a path.

If she was mafia she would have known this was incorrect and its so easy to check with a quick mister moderator post that it seems like a pointless venture to lie about not knowing the rule. thoughts on this?

Wish there was a way to pull out only posts in this thread that haven't already been quoted upteen times... would save some time catching up in between all the repeats for clarification.

Rich - Leaning mafia. Ice's glancing vote which has already been switched away was a nice touch, Ice.

Looks like you ladies were wondering this too while I was pulling the quotes for my comment about the same thing. In his case, I suspect TRS does it on purpose as a stalling tactic to buy time. The way it's worked out in the past, he's managed to get reactions to both votes he's placed without having to admit he's just lost or indecisive. Then by the time he gets around it confirming one or the other, he can already gauge how well each vote went over before deciding which one to confirm.

I'm not sure about your idea, Noodles, that he's saving Luv. But it's easy enough for us to backtrack and look at that closer too. I just wasn't suspecting him as being mafia at this point because he didn't seem very interested in the game (once he dealt with the power outage/etc.).

I dont know JM. I have played probly 10 games, most w/ ice and he does not change his play style based on the role....not saying he is not mafia, but not saying he is, based on play style either. I just dont think it is an accurate way to determine his role.....He is good. period.

I guess what I meant is that I suspect him of being mafia, but my reasoning regarding that isn't any stronger than for other presumed citizens. I'd hate to vilify a citizen who is actively working to save the town(especially not just because they are highly active), is all I'm saying, particularly since DD turned up innocent. We're getting to where we can't make those mistakes.

If FD was lynched and turned up mafia, I'd still lean towards Kash at this point as being a probable mafia member. There are too many hypotheticals beyond that for my taste, I will be watching carefully for folks casting dispersions about the meaning of the results of nightfall, mafia or no.

JL also peaks my interest, as I said. However, if I were the tie maker or breaker on ANOTHER civilian, I'd probably facepalm. I can't get a decent read on Ice, seems legit thus far. The Town is undecided on how best to go after the Mafia, all they know is that they need to do it soon. Fingers point and allegations fly. In the end Fire is pushed towards Bala, she hardly fights. The lynchman steps away from Bala's tail fin which he has just finished sharpening with a steel. Fire and hoisted up and quickly dropped across the blade, the cut is clean and true...

We already know Jpap was mafia, we know Fire was mafia. I doubt it would be more then 2 mafia left. I can't see more then 4 mafia players though 5 might be possible. So IMO we're looking for 2 or 3 more.

I'm not going any further then that. I could speculate but why bother. I'd like to see what the others bring to the table. With 3 days till a lynch there should be plenty of time for opinions.

That I can't answer right now. I think it will get more clear after each lynch. Of course, the mafia will still have their hit abilities.

I do think Agass was told not to vote. I am sadly not surprised that they hit Mav. I have said they probably won't hit the more visible players because it would be too easy to deduce from who is left. (If that makes any sense).
