View Full Version : ???? About cories and shrimp

I traded for some shrimp awhile back and have done OK so I decided to move up and get some CRS tanks cycled shrimp ordered can I put habrosous cories with these guys? There were a few cories that grew out with the blue shrimp I have but I removed them. I appreciate the help and thank all of you ahead of time.

Red, I haven't had the habrosous in with my cherry shrimp, but aren't they the small cory like the pygmy? If they are, my 23 pygmies are in the same tank as my shrimp and have had no problems at all.
I have also had them with my aeneus and haven't had any issues with that combo either.

Yes they are a pygmy I feed quite well also appreciate the help.

I have been told that the corys won't hurt the shrimp intentionally but with all their dashing about can startle the shrimp into dropping their eggs. I have corys, amanos, ghost and cherry shrimp in a 55 and if anything the cherry shrimp are really mean to the corys and chase them away from the food!
