No, really? I wanted to marry him so my laundry would always be done, my items would all be hung up, my plumbing would not leak, my car would have no dents, etc. :tombstone::cry:
Wait! I just discovered he was found dead by his WIFE.
Really, that is very sad.

this is the suckiest week ever. i am so sad and so stunned that i'm finding myself just staring at the computer screen, not really focusing on anything in front of me. i loved billy mays, and my husband and i have totally been digging on pitchmen. now, i've had to tell him twice in one week that someone he admires is gone. i mean, mcmahon and farrah we have no trouble believing- they were old and sick, respectively. but, wtf? can you say "out of the blue"? who's next, brad pitt? v.v;
i always said that billy mays was gonna save the world. now i guess we'll never know. :shakehead:
(oh, and there have been plenty of facebook quizzes about billy mays before now, and a couple groups and fan pages, too.)

sounds to me like it had everything to do with the tampa flight... he said he got hit on the head by something during the landing. i thought already that it was an odd coincidence that he had been on that flight...

Seriously, I love this man. I am heartbroken. It is the family joke that I was going to marry him and all my laundry would be clean with Oxi Clean, my shower clean with KaBoom, my stove top clean with Orange Glo, all my items on Hercules hooks, all my plumbing problems fixed with that Mighty Putty, all the dings in my car fixed with Ding King and all my clothes mended with Mighty Mend It. I love Billy Mays. He was funny and very interesting and he could laugh at himself, too. Did you see him on Late Night with Conan this past week? It was great. Billy and I would have made a lovely couple. But I just found out he was found dead by his WIFE, Debbie. D**m!!
This has been a tough couple weeks for celebs.

if he was hit on the head but thought to be OK, it might have been the same thing that killed that other celeb while she was skiing...her name escapes me though

Subdural hematoma killed Natasha Richardson. Bleeding beneath the dura membrane that covers the brain. The bleeding compresses the brain. That may be what happened to him, possibly. I'm sure they will do an autopsy.
Very sad. Sometimes a blow to the head will cause death, though the blow itself wouldn't have done so, because there was some defect in the vascular system of the brain, such as an aneurysm or some other problem, sometimes a congenital defect that was there, waiting like a time bomb.
Whatever the cause, it's very sad.

That photograph reminds me of the end of "return of the jedi." It's really a shame all those folks went in such a short time. Just an unfortunate year, I guess.
