I'm about to trim about 12 or so rotala rotundifolia plants, so I'll have that many trimmings, about 3-4 inches long, grown under 2wpg w/DIY co2.

My tank has a little BBA, so you should do whatever it is you do to ensure BBA spores don't get into your tank before placing these in it (e.g. short dip in bleach or hydrogen peroxide).

Cost = shipping only, PM me and I'll figure it out for you.

Is it red?

the very tops are red, but whether it turns red in your system depends on the lighting/ferts/co2 you have. see here: http://www.plantgeek.net/plant-186.htm

it's the tall green leafy stuff, just to be clear.

Going to trim them today - about 6 to 7 inches now; $8 flat for the whole bunch. It'd be a shame to just toss them!

im no expert but that looks more like ludwigia repens than rotala rotund.
nevermind...i was looking at the wrong plant in your tank.

It may very well be - but it was sold to me as rotala. Also I have repens in the same tank (to the right in the pic) and it looks quite different to me.

Comparison: ludwigia repens (http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_viewer.php?id=156); rotala rotundifolia (http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_viewer.php?id=186)
