Today in my reef tank my Bangii Cardinale seemed to me floating around. He was breathing but the current blew him wherever it was heading. Occasionally he would jolt out of it and then start floating again.This is the second time I have had a Cardinale die.
Other fish in the tank
!) medium size clownfish
1) yellow spotted goby
1) Cleaner Shrimp
2) Torch Corals
1) Green Coral
1) Bubble Anenome.

Water quality is
SG 1.023
Temp 78
Amm =0
Ph= 8.2
Nitrites=0
Nitrates=0

I can't figure why he is dying. I have looked carefully...I don't think it is parasites (plus I have been told the cleaner shrimp will virtually eliminate parasites from the reef tank) as I don't see spots or anything. Eyes look normal. The fish does look a little
skinny. But it has been eating when fed.
Although its only a $15 fish....I would like to know if there is someway to figure out when they die...why it happened.

I don't know if I should expect some deaths in the first few months of having a tank or if there is something I am not doing right ?

Thanks
