Whats up A.C ,I recently bought a red tiger lotus bulb and im inquiring about how to trim it for fuller growth?Right now it has 5 leaves with 2 new ones coming in.This plant grows very rapidly ,and the youngest/newest stem is advancing to the surface and that leaf is huge.I dont mind if it grows the floaters or flowers but i want it full first .Any help or plain rebuttal would be nice, thanks

Remove the dead-looking leaves.

Thanks for the response.none of the look dead yet except they lower ones arent red their green.should i remove them?

Pruning the surface leaves will help promote submerged growth. High light and CO2 injection should help as well since the demand for those two items is what triggers the surface growth.
