One of my convicts is so weird. I think these fish are so like mammals its amazing. I thought he was narcholeptic because he would just lay on the bottom on his belly and somtimes sideways and still be breathing. His fins and all move but he will stay in the same spot for the longest time. Here is the weirdest part. If I go near the tank or tap on it lightly he wakes up and swims around and looks very happy. But if i dont feed him and just look at him he goes back to the laying on the bottom on his belly. This reminds me of a dog who is asking for attention. My dog will lay there but if i make 2 steps towards him he gets up and walks over to me. If I pay no attention to him(I do this sometimes to see what he does :p ) he goes back and lays down or goes after someone else. I dont know I think the convict is just like a lazy dog. Any ideas on whats wrong or is this normal? What kinda weird things do your fish do?
