Hi there,
I just recently bought a 125g tank (yay!)
and I'm considering setting up a sump system

I was wondering what I need and what is the best way to set it up...and kind of need some pointers as to how to do it etc

I like the setup Star showed me in the last thread...as regards to what size and how strong I need the sump etc

here's a link to the one star showed me that I want to replicate

http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=199021&page=2

the sump hole is already drilled in the top right corner of the back pane of glass in the tank and is a little smaller than the diameter of a baseball (I will get an exact measurement tomorrow morning and post it up)

Thanks in advance,
Taylor

yah there is just the one hole drilled in the back near the top right corner of the tank
and I was hoping you would find this thread too lol
I really like the sump example you showed me...I basically want something exactly like that

since it's drill you could. normally there is a smaller hole drilled for the return but you can work around that using plumbing similar to that of a canister for your return.

ok so it is possible...
what company do you recommend and how many GPH for a 125g?

not sure what size I want it yet tbh...I guess that also depends on the stand

This is the first time I've ever had a tank this size so I want it to be as well setup as possible

as for the design etc...which sticky do you recommend following for a sump design like the one you showed me?
